2 Days Fujian Tulou Tour
Fujian Tulou is listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO for its unique architectural style and profound Hakka cultural heritage.
This trip starts from Xiamen and goes to Yunshuiyao Scenic Area and Tianluokeng Tulou Group to deeply experience the charm of Fujian Tulou. On the first day, you will visit Huaiyuan Tower, Yunshuiyao Creek and Hegui Tower to experience the unique history, culture and natural scenery of the Tulou. At night, you will stay in the ancient town B&B to enjoy the peaceful night view. On the second day, you will visit Tianluokeng Tulou Group to appreciate the magnificent landscape of this world cultural heritage, and then back to Xiamen. We are equipped with a professional team of local tour guides and drivers to take you to appreciate the most original and representative Tulou architecture and immerse you in the visual and cultural feast of Fujian Tulou.

Day 1: Xiamen-Nanjing
Xiamen – Yunshuiyao Scenic Area

In the morning, we will take the high-speed train from Xiamen North Station to Nanjing Station (approximately 40 minutes). Upon arrival, we will drive to Yunshuiyao Scenic Area and visit Huaiyuan Tower, an ancient tulou that showcases the unique Hakka culture.
In the afternoon, we will explore Yunshuiyao Creek and Hegui Tower, Yunshuiyao Creek is a picturesque waterway with traditional Hakka homes and lush greenery along the banks. Hegui Tower is a preserved, square-shaped tulou (earthen building) that offers insights into the traditional Hakka lifestyle.
After the trip of today, we will stay overnight in a local guesthouse within the ancient village, offering a glimpse into the traditional Hakka lifestyle.
Huaiyuan Tower: Visit this iconic earth building, an excellent example of Fujian’s traditional architecture, with its impressive structure and cultural significance.
Yunshuiyao Creek: Enjoy a scenic stroll along the peaceful creek, surrounded by lush greenery and clear waters. It’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty.
Hegui Tower: Another impressive earth building, rich in history and culture, offering a deeper understanding of the region’s architectural heritage.
Transportation: Take a high-speed train from Xiamen North Station to Nanjiang Station, which takes approximately 40 minutes.
Day 2: Nanjing-Xiamen
Tianluokeng Earth Building Cluster – Xiamen

After breakfast, we will visit the Tianluo Keng Tulou Cluster, a group of iconic tulou buildings known for their distinctive round and square shapes, which were built to withstand the region’s natural environment.
Duration: Around 3 hours of exploration of the Tulou cluster.
In the afternoon, we will head to Nanjiang Station to catch the high-speed train back to Xiamen after exploring the Tianluokeng Earth Building Cluster, which takes about 40 minutes.
Transportation: Take a high-speed train from Nanjiang Station back to Xiamen North Station
Tianluokeng Earth Building Cluster: This UNESCO World Heritage site features a series of traditional earthen buildings, surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes. The site is famous for its impressive architecture and cultural significance.
Yongding Tulou：It is one of the most representative traditional residential buildings in Fujian Province, mainly distributed in Yongding District. Tulou is famous for its unique round or square structure, thick earthen walls and rich cultural connotations, and is known as the “Oriental Ancient Castle”. In 2008, Yongding Tulou was listed on the World Cultural Heritage List.
