First, you will start today’s adventure in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
When you enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the picturesque scenery along the way seems like a flowing landscape painting.
Your first adventure is a thrilling ride on the Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest outdoor lift, which takes you swiftly up the cliffside while offering spectacular views of the surrounding sandstone formations. As you ascend, you’ll witness the incredible natural wonders that make Zhangjiajie a true marvel of nature.
At the top, you’ll explore the majestic Tianzi Mountain, known for its majestic peaks rising above a sea of clouds. The towering stone pillars and misty cliffs create a dreamlike scene, as if you’ve entered a celestial realm.
At the end of your journey to Zhangjiajie, your guide and driver will transfer you to Fenghuang’s Old City, which is about 80 kilometres away from Zhangjiajie and takes about 1.5 hours by car.
Upon arrival at Furong Ancient Town, night has fallen and a unique dinner experience is prepared for you. You can stroll to a restaurant with a breathtaking view of the waterfall, where not only is the food tantalising, but the natural beauty is an added bonus.
Day 2: Fenghuang's Old City

After breakfast, you embark on the best journey to explore this ancient town with more than 2,000 years of cultural heritage.
Fenghuang’s Old City is best known for the Fenghuang Waterfall that runs through the centre of the town. Its sound is like a whisper, but its momentum is majestic, and the Tujia Fishing Mansions standing between the cliffs above the waterfall are a perfect match, constituting a stirring natural and humanistic picture.
Then, you will stroll on the stone road of Wuli Street, every step seems to step into the long river of history, the ancient houses on both sides and the shops lined on both sides of the street, bringing an ancient and peaceful. You will also visit the Folklore Museum, which displays primitive machines, daily necessities and tools, each of which carries the crystallisation of the Tujia people’s hard work and wisdom, and silently tells the story of this nation’s long and rich history.
Next, you will go to Xizhou Bronze Pillar, where you can listen to the legendary stories about the past Tusi king and feel the shock and emotion of travelling through time and space.
In the evening, we will also end our visit in Furong Ancient Town and drive back to Zhangjiajie. As we escort you to the airport or railway station, may the wonderful memories of this journey accompany you to your next destination and continue to write your own wonderful chapter.
