Day 1: Chongqing Arrival

Arrive in Chongqing 4+stars Hotel None Your exploration of the mountain city has officially began. Upon arrival, a chauffeured car will be waiting for you to take you to your hand-picked hotel. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, this hotel is the perfect place to rest and recuperate. After checking in, you are free to spend your time either relaxing in the hotel or strolling around the neighborhood to get a first taste of Chongqing’s unique mountain townscape and cityscape. As night falls, why not take a stroll to the nearby night market to taste the authentic Chongqing snacks and reserve energy for the rest of the journey?

Day 2: Chongqing

Shancheng Alley – Sutra Pavilion – Huguang Guild Hall – Dongshuimen City Wall Ruins – Hongyadong 4+stars Hotel Breakfast Begin your day exploring Shancheng Alley, a historic lane that captures the essence of old Chongqing. Wander through its narrow, sloping paths, where traditional houses, local craftsmen, and cozy tea shops offer a glimpse into the city’s past. Next, visit the serene Sutra Pavilion, home to ancient Buddhist scriptures and a peaceful atmosphere. This hidden treasure provides a quiet escape and a chance to reflect amidst the urban hustle. Continue to the magnificent Huguang Guild Hall, an architectural masterpiece from the Qing Dynasty. Admire its intricate wooden carvings, painted murals, and learn about the history of early immigrants in Chongqing. Just steps away, explore the Dongshuimen City Wall Ruins, a section of Chongqing’s ancient city wall. Here, you can walk along history and enjoy panoramic views of the Yangtze River. As evening falls, experience the magical Hongyadong, a stunning stilted complex illuminated by countless lights. Explore its multi-level streets, sample local snacks, and capture breathtaking photos of the river and cityscape.

Day 3: Chongqing Wulong

Three Natural Bridges + Longshuixia Fissure Gorge / Fairy Maiden Mountain + Wujiang Chibi Observation Deck 4+stars Hotel Breakfast The third day’s tour will take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city and into the embrace of nature. First of all, we will go to the World Natural Heritage Site – Three Natural Bridges. These three huge natural stone bridges spanning the valley are magnificent and are the masterpieces of nature’s ingenious workmanship. You can weave under the bridges, look up at the towering stone walls and feel the majesty and power of nature. If time permits, we will also take you to explore the Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, a deep and long canyon that is as breathtaking as nature’s carefully carved cracks. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the Fairy Maiden Mountain National Forest Park, which is characterized by alpine grasslands and forested landscapes, and is known as the “First Pasture in the South” and the “Switzerland of the East”. Take a small sightseeing train to travel between the grassland and the forest, enjoying the freshness and tranquility of nature. In the evening, climb up to the Wujiang Chibi Observation Deck and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Wujiang River Gallery from afar, with the river as blue as the setting sun and the green mountains on both sides of the river, which is breathtakingly beautiful.

Day 4: Chongqing

Yangtze River Ropeway – Eighteen Stairs – Jiefangbei – Ciqikou – Departure None Breakfast On the last day, we will take you to revisit the classic landmarks of Chongqing. Start your day with an exciting ride on the Yangtze River Ropeway, one of Chongqing’s most iconic experiences. Glide above the mighty Yangtze River and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city’s dramatic skyline and mountainous terrain. Next, explore Eighteen Stairs (Shibati), a recently restored historic district that beautifully blends old Chongqing charm with modern culture. Wander through its stepped alleyways, where traditional courtyard homes, trendy cafés, and souvenir shops tell stories of the city’s past and present. From there, head to Jiefangbei, the bustling central business district and home to the city’s famous Liberation Monument. This vibrant area offers fantastic shopping, dining, and people-watching opportunities—a perfect place to feel the pulse of modern Chongqing. In the afternoon, make your way to Ciqikou Ancient Town. Located along the banks of the Jialing River, this well-preserved old street is filled with Ming and Qing-era architecture. Sample local snacks like spicy peanuts and handmade sweets, browse traditional handicrafts, and soak in the lively atmosphere. As your day concludes, we’ll transfer you to the airport or train station for your departure, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Chongqing’s unique mix of history, culture, and urban energy.
