Day 1: Arrive in Beijing

Arrive in Beijing and transfer to the hotel 4+ star hotels None Upon your arrival in Beijing, our professional guide will be waiting for you at the airport. You will be transferred comfortably by private vehicle to your hotel in the city center. After check-in, take some time to rest and adjust to the time difference. If you’re eager to explore your surroundings, our guide will provide practical suggestions. Arrival Tips As an international aviation hub, Beijing has direct flights connecting to many cities around the world. In addition, you can also choose to take the high-speed rail to reach downtown Beijing. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the city by taking the Airport Express, and the cost is about RMB 35-50 per person. The airport bus takes about 60-90 minutes and costs 40 yuan per person; taxis or online car-hailing take about 60-90 minutes and cost about 300 yuan (depending on the type of car). At the same time, Beijing Airport is adjacent to various cities in China. For example, it only takes about 2.5 hours from Daxing Airport to major cities such as Shanghai, Xi’an, Guangzhou, and Chengdu.

Day 2: Beijing

Tian’anmen Square–Forbidden City–Summer Palace 4+ star hotels Breakfast&Lunch Tiananmen Square: Start your day at Tiananmen Square, one of the world’s largest public squares, rich in history. Forbidden City: Next, visit the magnificent Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Summer Palace: End your day at the Summer Palace, known for its beautiful gardens and stunning lakes. Evening Option: In the evening, you may choose to enjoy a captivating performance of Peking Opera, a kung fu show, or acrobatics, immersing yourself in the charm of traditional Chinese culture. Performances usually run from 19:15 to 20:15.

Day 3: Beijing

Great Wall–Bird Nest 4+ star hotels Breakfast&Lunch Mutianyu Great Wall: After breakfast, head to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Enjoy breathtaking views as you walk along this historic structure. You will take an easy cable car up to the Great Wall. Next you will climb up to the city tower overlooking the majestic Great Wall, which will surely make your stay unforgettable. After the Great Wall tour, we will take the cable car down the mountain. (Note: If you are physically fit, you can also choose to hike up and down the mountain to feel the sense of accomplishment of climbing to the top). Olympic Sites: On your return to Beijing, take a moment to admire the Bird’s Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center) from the outside, marveling at their unique designs. Recommended Activities You can choose foot massage, houhai night bars or Sanlitun bar street at night.

Day 4: Beijing--Chengdu

Temple of Heaven–Hutongs–Flight to Chengdu 4+ star hotels Breakfast&Lunch Temple of Heaven: In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. Hutong Experience: Participate in a hands-on dumpling-making experience in a traditional hutong, followed by a rickshaw ride through the charming alleyways. Flight to Chengdu: After lunch, take flight to Chengdu(about 3 hours, experience “slow culture”

Day 5: Chengdu

Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding–Chengdu People’s Park–Old streets of Jinl 4-Star Hotel Breakfast & Lunch Welcome to Chengdu, which is known as the “Land of Abundance”. In the morning, you will go to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This is not only a scientific research base for pandas around the world, but also a cozy home for more than a hundred of pandas. You will be able to observe pandas of all ages eating, playing, rolling on the ground and climbing trees. In the afternoon, you will step into Chengdu People’s Park to experience the unique leisure and ease of this city. Here you can order a pot of tea and take a nap or join the local people in a game of mahjong and experience the ear cleaning service. As night falls, you will step into the old street of Jinli, which has ancient buildings, lots of Chengdu snacks and cuisines, and exquisite handicrafts that are lively and interesting folk performances. You will spend an unforgettable night here. Recommended Evening Activities 1. Take a stroll down Chunxi Road and have some snacks. 2. Watch a Chinese kung fu or theater show and you can ask guide to buy tickets for you. 3. Take a walk around Chengdu on your own to experience Chengdu’s residential life.

Day 6: Chengdu

Chengdu–Leshan Giant Buddha–Chengdu 4+stars Hotel Breakfast After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Leshan Giant Buddha. It is 71 meters high, with ears as long as 7 meters, the backs of its feet as wide as 8.5 meters, and even its little fingernails are higher than those of a normal person. This giant Buddha was built in 713 A.D., and is a symbol of the ancient people’s prayers for peace and prosperity, and protects boatmen from the dangers of the rapids. You can start from the hill next to the Giant Buddha and climb up to the head of the Buddha to see it up close, then walk down the stone steps to the foot of the Buddha to enjoy the full view of it.(Please noe that you may have to queue if you visit the Big Buddha during peak hours.) Optional Activities You can enjoy an amazing 30-minute boat ride. The boat will take you to the front of the Giant Buddha to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view

Day 7: Departure from Chengdu

Chengdu Departure None Breakfast On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before your driver transfers you to the airport or train station for your onward journey. Recommended Activity: If you have extra time before your flight, consider visiting a local market or tea house to enjoy a final taste of Chengdu before heading home.
