Day 1: Fuzhou

Fuzhou Arrival – Free Time 4-Star Hotel None After arriving in Fuzhou, the driver will wait for you at the airport/train station and will take you to the hotel for check-in. The remaining time is for you to arrange your own time. The following activities are recommended: Sanfang Qixiang, Minjiang Night Tour, Daming Food Street, Yantai Mountain Cruise.

Day 2: Fuzhou

Pingtan Island-Houyan Island 4-Star Hotel Breakfast & Lunch Journey to Pingtan Island, China’s “Malibu of the East”. At Houyan Island (Monkey Islet), stand on volcanic rocks 68 sea miles from Taiwan. Follow crimson boardwalks past surreal sculptures – pose at the “Heart of China” stone monument framed by spinning wind turbines. Hunt for glowing “blue tears” plankton in tide pools (May-Aug). Lunch on fresh stir-fried razor clams at a fishing village before capturing the island’s signature vista: granite boulders piercing turquoise waves under colossal white windmills. Don’t miss: Sunset at “Floating Glass Bridge” with 270° sea views.

Day 3: Fuzhou-Zhangjiajie

Take a flight to Zhangjiajie – Free Time 4-Star Hotel Breakfast & Lunch Take a flight to Zhangjiajie (2 hrs), gateway to UNESCO-listed peaks. Check into a hotel nestled in Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Evening suggestion: Watch Charming Xiangxi cultural show featuring fire-dancing Tujia tribesmen.

Day 4: Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie Forest Park – Bailong Ladder – Yuanjiajie – Tianzi Mountain 4-Star Hotel None Rise early for Zhangjiajie Forest Park. Ride the Bailong Elevator – the world’s tallest outdoor lift (326m/70 sec) – vertically up a quartz cliff. Emerge at Yuanjiajie to witness the Avatar Hallelujah Mountains: 3,000+ sandstone pillars piercing clouds. Walk the First Bridge Under Heaven, a natural rock span over 300m deep. Afternoon at Tianzi Mountain: Ride cable cars above sea of mist to see Immortal Greeting the Guests – a peak resembling an old man holding a basket.

Day 5: Zhangjiajie

Tianmen Mountain Park – Tianmen Mountain Cableway – Glass Plank Road – 72 Wonderful Towers 4-Star Hotel Breakfast & Lunch Head to the Tianmen Mountain Park in the morning. Ascend via Tianmen Mountain Cableway (7.5km/30 min), the planet’s longest passenger ropeway. Test courage on the Glass Skywalk – a transparent path clinging to cliffs at 1,430m elevation. Peer down through your feet at hawks circling above 99-Bend Road’s serpentine turns. Trek through Tianmen Cave, a 130m-high natural archway where clouds spill like waterfalls. Evening at 72 Marvelous Towers: Navigate this 109m-tall labyrinth of stilted houses housing Miao silversmiths, chili mills, and nightly fire-spitting rituals. Savor Tujia smoked pork with sticky rice.

Day 6: Zhangjiajie Departure
