Day 5: Hongcun-Mount Huang Departure

In the morning, you’ll rise early (around 5:00 to 6:00 AM) to ascend Mount Huang and witness a breathtaking sunrise. On a clear day, you’ll be treated to the stunning sight of golden sunlight piercing through the mist, illuminating the rocks and peaks.
After enjoying the sunrise, return to your hotel for breakfast before heading to the famous Paiyun Pavilion, where you can take in the incredible view of the “Monkey Watching the Sea” from Lion Peak (1,690 meters).
Following your mountain adventure, you’ll visit Hongcun, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient village, dating back to the Song Dynasty, is celebrated as one of China’s most beautiful villages. It’s also known as the filming location for the Oscar-winning movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.”
