Afternoon: Immerse yourself in the electric energy of Nanjing Road, China’s premier shopping street stretching 5.5km. Browse through heritage brands like Lao Feng Xiang jewelers and modern flagship stores, with optional rides on the vintage sightseeing tram.
Evening: Experience Shanghai’s golden hour at The Bund, where 52 colonial-era buildings create Europe’s architectural museum. Capture perfect shots of Pudong’s futuristic skyline across the river. Cap the day with a Huangpu River cruise, watching the city transform as neon lights illuminate both historic and modern landmarks.
Night: Oriental Pearl Tower. Ascending to its glass-floored observation deck for breathtaking 360° views of Shanghai’s night life.
Day 3: Shanghai Departure
Qibao Ancient Town-Jade Buddha Temple-Tianzifang-Fuxing Park

Morning: Start at Qibao Ancient Town, stoning cobbled lanes past Qing Dynasty houses and sampling local snacks like crab-shell cakes.

Afternoon: find spiritual serenity at Jade Buddha Temple, home to two priceless Burmese jade Buddha statues. The afternoon brings you to Tianzifang, a labyrinth of converted shikumen houses now housing indie galleries, craft shops and hip cafes – perfect for souvenir hunting.
Conclude your journey at Fuxing Park, Shanghai’s most elegant green space with its French-style rose gardens and local tai chi practitioners. Nearby, explore former French Concession boulevards lined with plane trees and art deco apartments.
Day 4: Chengdu Arrival
Chengdu-Leshan Giant Buddha

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Leshan Giant Buddha. You can start from the hill next to the Giant Buddha and climb up to the head of the Buddha to see it up close, then walk down the stone steps to the foot of the Buddha to enjoy the full view of it.
Day 5: Chengdu
Base of Giant Panda Breeding–Chengdu People’s Park–Wuhou Shrine–Old streets of Jinli

Morning: you will go to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This is not only a scientific research base for pandas around the world, but also a cozy home for more than a hundred of pandas. You will be able to observe pandas of all ages eating, playing, rolling on the ground and climbing trees.

Afternoon: you will step into Chengdu People’s Park to experience the unique leisure and ease of this city. Here you can order a pot of tea and take a nap or join the local people in a game of mahjong and experience the ear cleaning service.
Night: you will step into the old street of Jinli, which has ancient buildings, lots of Chengdu snacks and cuisines, and exquisite handicrafts that are lively and interesting folk performances. You will spend an unforgettable night here.
Day 6: Chengdu Departure

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and enjoy a visit to the Wuhou Shrine, which is known as the “mecca of the Three Kingdoms” The most venerated memorial of Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and other important Shu Han individuals.
