Day 4: Shenzhen-Guangzhou

After arriving in Guangzhou, our journey begins at the Chen Clan Academy. This Qing Dynasty ancestral temple complex, which is a masterpiece of Lingnan architectural art, is famous for its exquisite wood carvings, stone carvings, brick carvings, colorful paintings and pottery sculptures. Stepping into it is like traveling back to the ancient times. Every piece of brick and stone and every wood carving tells a story of history, allowing you to savor the deep heritage of Lingnan culture and the exquisite skills of traditional craftsmanship.
Afterwards, it is a short walk to the Six Banyan Temple. This thousand-year-old temple, built in the Southern Dynasty, was named after Su Dongpo’s inscription “Six Banyan”. The colorful Six Banyan Temple inside the temple is a perfect contrast to the surrounding ancient trees, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and peace. Here, you can calmly listen to the bells of the thousand-year-old temple and feel the rare tranquility and transcendence.
In the afternoon, go to Yuexiu Park, which is the largest comprehensive park in Guangzhou and a good place for citizens to relax and have fun. Stroll along the boulevard, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy an oasis in the city. If time permits, climb up to Zhenhai Tower for a great view of the whole Guangzhou city, taking in the bustle of the city and the serenity of nature.
In the evening, we will head to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a solemn building that not only commemorates Dr. Sun Yat-sen, but is also an important historical and cultural landmark in Guangzhou. Afterwards, walk to Beijing Road, one of the busiest commercial streets in Guangzhou and the birthplace of history and culture. Walking along the street, the stores on both sides of the street will make you feel the prosperity of the modern city; at the same time, the historical relics such as the ruins of the South Vietnam Watergate and the ruins of the thousand-year old road on Beijing Road will make you appreciate the long history and culture of Guangzhou.
Day 5: Guangzhou-Zhangjiajie
Canton Tower – Nan Yue Wang Museum – Transfer to Zhangjiajie

After breakfast, our journey takes us to the Canton Tower. This second tallest TV tower in the world is not only the landmark of Guangzhou, but also the best place to see the night view of Yangcheng. Taking the high-speed elevator straight to the top sightseeing floor of the tower, you can have a 360-degree view of the whole Guangzhou city without any dead angle. When the sunshine sprinkles the earth, the cityscape of Guangzhou becomes more charming, with the Pearl River New City and the architectural complex around the Canton Tower as far as the eye can see.
Afterwards, we head to the Nan Yue Wang Museum. This museum not only displays the history, culture and archaeological discoveries of the Nan Yue Kingdom, but also makes history “come alive” through high-tech means, allowing you to more intuitively understand the historical changes of Guangzhou and even the Lingnan region.
In the afternoon, we will transfer to Zhangjiajie by plane, our driver will pick you up at the airport.
Day 6: Zhangjiajie
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park-Huangshizhai-Yuanjiajie Scenic Area

After breakfast, you will go to the depths of Zhangjiajie National Park.
First, you will come to Huangshizhai (1,200 meters) is one of the largest and most concentrated viewpoints in Zhangjiajie Forest Park
Next you will start the tour of Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where there are many towering stone pillars, including the South Heavenly Pillar, which is a realistic facsimile of the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, reaching 150 meters high. This unique landscape makes you marvel at the magic and greatness of nature.
Then you will walk into the Jinbianxi Canyon, which is a 5,700-meter-long winding and deep canyon with clear water in all seasons and picturesque scenery all around. On the way, you will also see the peculiar “Piggy carrying his daughter-in-law” rocks.
Finally, you will come to the Ten Mile Gallery, where the scenery is so picturesque and beautiful. You can take a relaxing tour on a sightseeing tram to change the perspective and view of the scenery.
Day 7: Zhangjiajie Departure
Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Forest Park – Zhangjiajie Departure

In the morning, you will visit the Tianmen Mountain.
First, you’ll come to the Tianmen Cave, which is a natural cave through the mountain at the highest altitude in the world, it is famous for its unique location and spectacular scenery.
Next, you will ride the Tianmen Mountain Ropeway, which is 7,455 meters long and one of the longest alpine passenger ropeways in the world. As the ropeway slowly ascends, you will have a breathtaking view of the entire Zhangjiajie city.
At the end of the ropeway is the legendary “Stairway to Heaven”, a 999-step stairway that seems like a giant dragon winding its way through the mountains. You can choose to step on the 999 stone steps, the highest diagonal angle up to 45 °, as if the sky ladder hanging straight up to the sky.
Climbing to the top, you will arrive at the Tang Dynasty Tianmen Temple, a Buddhist shrine tucked away amidst verdant greenery and one of only five remaining Buddhist temples in the world to preserve the remains of a Buddha statue.
Continuing on, you will come to the West Line Glass Trail, which is built along the edge of the end of the world, and walking on it you can clearly see the ten-thousand-fathom deep valley under your feet, which brings you a strong sense of excitement and shock.
You will also visit Li Na Villa , the former retreat of a famous singer.
Finally, you will come to the Seventy-two Strange Buildings. It is the world’s tallest Xiangxi hammock-shaped building. You can eat here and buy a variety of specialty souvenirs and handicrafts.
At the end of the tour, your driver and guide will transfer you to the airport or train station on time.
